TLDR Review: Bridgestone e6 Soft Golf Balls
Verdict
The BRIDGESTONE GOLF e6 SOFT Golf Balls are a smart choice for mid to high handicap players or anyone wanting the feel and performance of a softer ball without breaking the bank. It delivers excellent distance and a straight flight, while forgiving mishits better than premium balls. If you’re after more aggressive spin and ultimate softness around the greens, premium options like the Pro V1 or Chrome Soft might serve you better, but for reliable play and value, this ball is tough to beat.
- Top pro:
- Provides excellent distance off the tee with consistent shots around 280 yards, even for mid to high handicap players.
- Top con:
- Slightly less spin or "biting power" near the greens compared to premium balls like the Pro V1 or Chrome Soft, which may reduce stopping power on approach shots.

- •Offers a softer feel, especially noticeable in putting compared to balls with a clickier sound.
- •Forgives imperfect shots better than premium balls like the ProV1, reducing the penalty on misses.
- •Stays on a straighter flight path compared to many other soft-feeling golf balls.
- •Suitable for mid to high handicap players looking for accuracy without sacrificing distance.
- •Offers good control around the greens, though with slightly less spin than premium balls, helping the ball roll out instead of stopping abruptly.
- •Provides excellent quality and value, comparable to balls costing twice as much.
- •Durable construction holds up well during play.
- •Ideal for golfers with slower swing speeds seeking a reliable, affordable golf ball.
- •Softer compressibility than other versions, offering more distance across all clubs.
Cons
- •Slightly less spin or "biting power" near the greens compared to premium balls like the Pro V1 or Chrome Soft, which may reduce stopping power on approach shots.
- •Trajectory can be a little less straight compared to older versions, though still fairly accurate.
- •Mishits with the driver will stay in the fairway but tend to lose distance.
- •Not the best choice for players who rely heavily on spin control around the greens or demand the softest feel possible.
- •The white version might be less visible in certain foliage compared to the vibrant yellow version.
