TLDR Review: Bose QuietComfort Earbuds
Verdict
If you want top-tier noise cancellation and sound quality with a super comfortable fit and reliable battery life, the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds deliver powerfully on those fronts, standing shoulder to shoulder with Apple AirPods Pro but with better comfort and sound customization options. However, beware of the frustrating connectivity issue that causes disconnections when you’re sitting still—this design quirk could be a dealbreaker if you do a lot of static activities like working at a desk or meditating. If that’s a concern, you might also want to consider other models with more stable connection behavior, but if sound and ANC prowess are your priority, these earbuds have you covered.
- Top pro:
- The noise cancellation is highly effective, comparable to Apple AirPods Pro with foam tips, using the original Bose silicone tips that are more comfortable than Apple’s.
- Top con:
- The earbuds have a significant design flaw causing frequent disconnections when stationary or sedentary, requiring head movement to maintain connection.
Score
The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds earn a high score due to their impressive sound quality, effective noise cancellation, and comfortable fit, making them a strong contender in the true wireless market. While most users appreciate their battery life and customizable features, some have reported connectivity issues, particularly when stationary, which may detract from the overall experience. Nonetheless, they provide significant value at their price point, especially for those seeking reliable performance in a variety of environments.

Cons

- •Touch controls can be overly sensitive, sometimes triggering unintentionally when removing the earbuds from the case.
- •Auto power-off feature is inconsistent, potentially impacting battery management.
