TLDR Review: BlueDriver OBDII Scan Tool
Verdict
If you're cruising around North America, the BlueDriver LSB2 Bluetooth Pro OBDII Scan Tool is your onboard diagnostic savior, diagnosing issues promptly and affordably. However, if your drive includes European cars or you're seeking more advanced features, you might just want to shop around to avoid potential shortcomings.
- Top pro:
- Quickly diagnosed a transmission problem in about five minutes.
- Top con:
- Provided inaccurate diagnostic results, leading to incorrect part purchase.
Score
The BlueDriver Bluetooth Pro OBD2 Car Scan Tool receives a moderate score due to its extensive diagnostic capabilities, including advanced code reading, live data monitoring, and useful repair suggestions; however, it faces criticism for inconsistent connectivity issues, reliance on the app, and limitations in reading certain system codes like SRS and TPMS. While it offers good value for enthusiasts and DIY mechanics, the lack of bidirectional functionality and customer service challenges may deter some users.
