TLDR Review: Black + Decker PowerSeries Extreme Cordless Stick Vacuum

If you're curious about how well the BLACK+DECKER BDH2020FL FLEX Cordless Handheld Vacuum can handle cleaning your car, here's what we found. This compact little machine is pretty solid when it comes to dealing with dry messes in vehicles.

It's got a lithium-ion battery that packs a punch for sucking up dirt, dust, and even pesky pet hair—really handy if you've got a furry co-pilot.

One of the highlights is its flexibility. It’s designed to squeeze into those tricky spots that are usually a pain to clean. The vacuum even comes with a pet hair attachment that people find awesome for getting fur off seats and carpets.

Just keep in mind, though, it's not built for liquids. The manufacturer points out that it's meant for dry messes only. So if a milkshake spills in your car, you’ll want to use something else. It's not a wet-dry vacuum, and using it on liquids might mess it up.

If you need something that can tackle both wet and dry stuff, you might want to check out vacuums specifically designed for that kind of work. There are plenty out there that will handle both with ease.

So, for regular car cleaning, especially if you’re dealing with dirt, dust, and hair, this BLACK+DECK

People seem to like this vacuum for tackling light to medium messes, especially in those tricky spots and hard-to-reach places. It handles things like pet hair, dirt, and crumbs pretty well, making it handy for quick clean-ups.

Just a heads up: the vacuum has a built-in battery, so you can't easily swap it out when it dies. If you're technically savvy, you could replace the cells yourself, but that's a bit of a project and usually involves soldering. The battery lasts well for short cleaning sessions, but it might start to wear down with heavy use, which is normal for lithium-ion batteries as they age.

Overall, this model is appreciated for its flexible hose and portability—really useful for getting into corners or under furniture.

But if having a replaceable battery is important to you, you might want to look at other models that offer that feature.
