TLDR Review: Bissell Little Green Proheat Pet Deep Cleaner 3969
Verdict
The Bissell® Little Green® Proheat® Pet is a solid pick if you need a portable, heated deep cleaner for spot treatments, especially if you have pets or deal with tougher stains on stairs, upholstery, or small carpet areas. Just be prepared for some quirks around the sprayer reliability and liquid usage—and don't expect it to replace a full-sized carpet cleaner for big jobs. If you want an alternative with fewer spraying issues or more robust suction, consider other portable spot cleaners, but this model remains a popular and practical choice for tackling pet messes quickly and effectively.
- Top pro:
- Suction power is surprisingly strong and effective for targeted cleaning tasks.
- Top con:
- Sprayer mechanism is poorly aligned, often failing to deliver consistent spray and sometimes dribbling.

Cons
- •Sprayer mechanism is poorly aligned, often failing to deliver consistent spray and sometimes dribbling.
- •Quality control concerns, with reports of sprayer or tool parts breaking after limited use.
- •Hose can accumulate pet hair, which is frustrating given the pet-focused design.
- •Suction strength is sometimes reported as weaker than expected, requiring multiple passes.
- •Uses a lot of cleaning liquid even for small areas, which can be inefficient.
- •Dirty tank does not detach easily, making cleaning it inconvenient.
- •Occasional leaks and lingering odors after cleaning spills reported by some users.
- •Not suitable for large area cleaning — designed for spot treatments rather than full-room deep cleans.
