TLDR Review: Beats Solo Buds
Verdict
The Beats Solo Buds deliver solid battery life, decent sound quality, and a comfortable fit at a competitive price point, making them a strong value choice for everyday wireless earbuds—especially if you’re in the Apple ecosystem. However, their lack of active noise cancellation and iffy mic performance may leave audiophiles and heavy commuters wanting more. If you want better call quality or active noise cancellation, you might want to explore other options, but for solid, stylish daily use with great battery life, these get the job done.
- Top pro:
- Comfortable fit that generally stays secure in the ear for extended use, with multiple ear tip sizes included to help customize fit
- Top con:
- Sound quality is not premium; some users found bass weak and mids/highs muddy, especially without active noise cancellation or spatial audio benefits
