TLDR Review: Beats Pill Bluetooth Speaker
Verdict
The Beats Pill in Statement Red is a beautifully designed, seriously loud portable speaker that shines with its crisp sound, solid battery life, and seamless Apple integration, making it great for home, outdoor, and travel use. If you’re looking for something ultra-portable with easy-to-use features and impressive volume, this is a solid choice. However, if you want a speaker with longer battery life at high volume or less finicky controls, you might want to compare other models. Overall, if style, portability, and connectivity with Apple devices matter most, this one hits the mark perfectly.
- Top pro:

Pros
- •Compact, lightweight design with a convenient built-in wrist strap makes it highly portable and travel-friendly
- •Delivers consistently excellent, powerful sound with clear vocals and punchy bass, filling rooms despite its small size
- •Up to 24 hours of battery life (with some users reporting even longer), suitable for extended use without frequent charging
- •Seamless and fast Bluetooth pairing, especially with Apple devices, including integration with Find My for easy tracking
- •Water resistant build adds durability for outdoor use and travel

- •Built-in microphone supports Siri and phone calls effectively
- •No app required for basic connectivity, making it easy for less tech-savvy users
Cons
- •Power button can be tricky to press and not very intuitive to operate
- •Occasional brief audio cutouts reported without clear explanation, which may interrupt listening sessions
- •At higher volumes, battery drains faster than the average user might expect
- •Some users find the bright red color too attention-grabbing and prefer a more discreet option like black
- •Instructions can be unclear, particularly about how to power off the device
- •Does not include a charging adapter, so you’ll need to provide your own USB-C charger
- •While loud, the sound range might not be as strong compared to some similarly priced speakers
- •Battery life reports vary, with some users mentioning closer to 8 hours at moderate volume rather than the full 24
- •Portability is excellent, but that compact size may limit the bass depth compared to larger speakers
