TLDR Review: Beatbot Sora 70 Pool Vacuum Robot
Verdict
The Beatbot Sora 70 Pool Vacuum Robot stands out as a powerful, versatile, and smart cleaning companion for pools up to 3,200 sq. ft. It excels at surface, wall, and waterline cleaning thanks to its strong suction and intelligent navigation. While it’s priced higher than basic options, its premium build, extensive features, and solid performance justify the investment—especially for pools with complex features or heavier debris loads. If you primarily need thorough floor cleaning in addition to surface skimming, or want an even more advanced navigation system, you might also consider products like the <component-button-product identifierProduct="Sora 70">, which offers similar top-tier features and robust performance.
- Top pro:

- •Executes a comprehensive 4-in-1 cleaning mode covering floor, walls, waterline, and surface for thorough coverage
- •Fully automated, cordless operation with smart navigation to ensure efficient pool coverage without missing spots
- •Uses smart surface parking to automatically float to the edge at cycle end or low battery, making retrieval effortless

- •Improved app interface provides real-time cleaning status, scheduling, and firmware updates
- •Long battery life of around 4–5 hours allows extensive cleaning, good for large or complex pools
Cons
- •Surface-focused design may result in slower cleaning of the pool floor and small debris in deep corners unless set in dedicated floor mode
- •Dual water jets can cause sinkable debris like waterlogged petals to sink before being captured
- •In "Pro Mode," it might miss some fine debris in deep corners, revealing slight limitations in deep-floor cleaning
- •Slightly heavy when lifting out, especially when full of water; requires proper lifting technique
- •Price feels on the higher side, though justified by quality and features
- •Some users noted earlier navigation issues or getting stuck on stairs, though recent updates seem to have improved this
- •Surface cleaning mode may not be as thorough as underwater modes against stubborn or deeply embedded debris
- •Needs about 3 hours of charging, which is relatively quick but still a consideration for repeated use
- •Responds best when programmed and monitored via the app; manual control has some latency
- •Setting up initially involves charging and app download, adding to pre-use prep time
