TLDR Review: ASUS Chromebook CX15
Verdict
The ASUS Chromebook CX15 is a surprisingly capable machine for a Chromebook, especially if you need a lightweight device that can handle engineering Linux apps, multitasking with multiple monitors, and general productivity tasks on Chrome OS. However, if you depend on reliable hardware for long-term use, the reported reliability issues and subpar speakers may give you pause. Keyboard quirks like the CAPS-LOCK behavior and touchpad frustrations add a mild annoyance but nothing insurmountable. If audio quality and longevity are priorities, you might want to wait for deals on alternatives, but for a solid balance of performance, portability, and price—especially if you embrace Chrome OS—this is a strong contender.
