TLDR Review: "Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS800 Projector"
Verdict
The Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS800 delivers jaw-dropping 4K HDR images on a massive scale, ideal for dedicated home theaters, especially with a properly calibrated ultra short throw setup and a high-gain ALR screen. However, its software and hardware reliability issues — notably loud fans, complicated alignment, and HDMI connectivity troubles — detract from the overall experience. If you’re willing to invest time into setup and troubleshooting, it’s a fantastic visual device; otherwise, you might want to consider more straightforward options. Given the mixed reviews around stability, in particular its HDMI and firmware issues, you might find a model with more user-friendly operation and better durability.
