How to See Price History
- Look up any product in ShopSavvy.
- On the product screen, look for the History tab or the price chart section.
- The chart shows the price over time across all retailers.
What to Look For
- All-time low: If the current price is near the all-time low, it is a good time to buy.
- Seasonal patterns: Some products always drop in price at certain times of year (TVs before the Super Bowl, laptops in August for back-to-school).
- Recent trend: Is the price going up or down? If it has been dropping steadily, it might drop more.
Using the Assistant
Ask: "What is the price history for the Sony WH-1000XM5?" and the assistant will summarize the trends and tell you if the current price is good.
Tips
