The RAILBLAZA C-Tug Kayak Cart does a pretty good job handling different terrains. It's been praised for managing to support various kayak hulls, thanks to its adjustable hull pads. These pads can fit all sorts of kayak shapes, like flat-bottomed ones or v-shaped hulls. This makes it a flexible choice for many types of kayaks, according to our research.
However, there are some mixed reviews too. From what we found, folks with uniquely shaped kayaks, like the Bonafide SS127, sometimes have trouble getting a perfect fit. The hull pads might not always reach the flatter parts, which can make things a bit wobbly during transport.
That said, the cart does have a solid strap system and pads that you can tweak, and this helps deal with those issues. Playing around with the fit might be necessary to get it just right for your kayak, which can help make it more stable when you’re on the move.
All in all, if you're going over different terrains, like sandy beaches or rocky trails, the C-Tug's design generally holds up well.
Just keep in mind that spending some time adjusting it for your specific kayak can make a big difference in how well it works for you.
