When it comes to the Prodyne Fruit Infusion Flavor Pitcher, durability seems to be a bit of a mixed bag. According to our research, the pitcher is well-liked for how it adds fresh fruit flavors to water, but it has a few weak points, especially the handle and lid.
Some folks have mentioned that the handle can detach with regular use, and there have been concerns about the lid’s ring (the part that holds the infuser) cracking or becoming loose over time. It sounds like the design is pretty functional, but you'll want to handle it gently to keep it in good shape.
On the plus side, people really like the pitcher’s functionality. You can pop out the infuser to mix fruits, herbs, or veggies into your water, making it more enticing without sugars. The manufacturer also emphasizes this ease of use and health benefits in the product description.
The pitcher is made of acrylic, and while the manufacturer describes it as sturdy, some people expected it to be more robust. From what we've seen, it should be fine with normal use, but rough handling might be a problem.
If you're considering getting the Prodyne Pitcher, just remember to be a bit careful with it. You might want to avoid overfilling it or putting too much pressure on the handle and lid.
It's a handy pitcher for spicing up your water; just keep an eye on those more delicate parts.
