When you're looking for toilet paper, it's all about finding the right mix of comfort, strength, and being kind to the planet. Cottonelle Ultra Clean seems to hit these notes pretty well compared to other brands. Our research, along with the manufacturer's product description, points out its "Active CleaningRipples" texture, which many people like for its effective cleaning ability.
What really makes Cottonelle Ultra Clean stand out is this unique texture. We found that a lot of people think it does a better job of removing residues and cutting down on odors than some of its rivals. Plus, this design gives the paper a bit more strength, so it's less likely to tear. Even though it's a single-ply, it seems strong enough to use fewer sheets while still feeling gentle on your skin.
A big plus for Cottonelle Ultra Clean is its environmental effort. The manufacturer says it’s made with 100% plant-based fibers and it's FSC certified, which means it's supporting responsible forestry. This might be a big deal if you're trying to keep an eco-friendly lifestyle.
For those with sensitive skin or allergies, the absence of added perfumes or dyes is another bonus. This seems to be a plus point for many in our research who prefer a more natural option.
On the flip side, there are a couple of things worth mentioning. Some folks noticed changes in packaging and the number of sheets per roll, which could influence how long it lasts and its perceived value.
And there’s been mention of some waste with how the first sheets are glued down, but it seems more like a minor hiccup than a deal-breaker.
All in all, if you're after a toilet paper that brings together strength, softness, and eco-friendliness, Cottonelle Ultra Clean could be a good pick. Despite some minor quirks with packaging and sheet count, many find its overall performance and value to be pretty solid.
