From what we've gathered, Cottonelle Ultra Clean Toilet Paper generally still holds up as a quality product, but there are a few things people have noticed recently.

It's known for its Active Cleaning Ripples texture, which aims to provide a good cleaning experience while being gentle on sensitive skin. The company says it's three times thicker and stronger per sheet compared to some other value brands, which is nice if you're looking for both comfort and durability.

A lot of folks appreciate its softness and strength. The texture seems to help with cleaning well and minimizing odors, and it's still gentle on the skin. Plus, it's free from added perfumes and dyes, so it's a good pick if you're sensitive to scents.

One handy thing about this toilet paper is that it's septic-safe, which is super important if you have a septic system. Even though it's single-ply, many have noted that it's quite sturdy, and the mega rolls mean you don't have to replace them as often, which could save you some money over time.

However, a few people have mentioned issues with starting a new roll. It seems the first few sheets can be glued a bit too tightly, making them tricky to separate. Also, while most like the texture and performance, some find it a bit thicker and stiffer than other brands, which might not be everyone's cup of tea.

All in all, most people still consider Cottonelle Ultra Clean a good choice, especially if you're buying in bulk. It balances effective cleaning, durability, and being gentle on sensitive skin.

If you're thinking of trying it or sticking with it, these points might help you decide. Whether you're focused on performance, skin-friendliness, or eco-friendliness, it seems Cottonelle is still a solid option.
