So, you're thinking about getting the "Provision Replacement Lid - Midnight Black" for your Simple Modern Provision Food Jar and wondering if it'll fit all the sizes? According to the manufacturer, it's supposed to be compatible with all of them. It should provide a good seal to keep leaks at bay, which is handy if you're transporting meals around. Plus, it's double-walled to help with insulation, keeping your food hot or cold, and it's dishwasher safe for easy cleanup.
But, let’s be real, our research shows some mixed feedback on the fit. Some folks mention it fits just right, especially with the 12oz jars. Others, though, have found it a bit inconsistent. Like, if you've got specific jar sizes, the seal might not be as secure as you want, especially if you’re dealing with hot liquids.
One person, C. Talbert, mentioned that while the lid works, it wasn’t as snug as expected, which could be an issue if you're storing something like hot soup. On a positive note, Addy M. and others have noticed the gasket is more durable now, which is a nice improvement over previous versions.
So, before you commit, double-check that it's really going to fit your model. Also, maybe look at the return policy just in case it doesn't work out as planned.
It’s always good to have a backup option. Good luck with your lid swap!
