The Simple Modern Provision Insulated Food Jar replacement lid, available in Midnight Black, is designed to fit all sizes of the Simple Modern Provision Food Jar. According to the manufacturer's product description, it creates a secure, leak-proof seal when properly screwed on, so it's great for storing food without worrying about spills.
It's made of plastic with double-wall insulation, helping keep your food hot or cold for longer. And it's also dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning a little easier.
However, there are some mixed opinions on how well it fits. Based on our research, some folks have found it to be the perfect fit, like W. Luty, who said it worked perfectly with their thermos. Addy M. also mentioned the lid had an updated gasket design that felt sturdier. Tina confirmed that the replacement lid comes with a rubber gasket, which is important for keeping it leak-proof.
But not everyone agrees on the fit. Some people have had issues—C. Talbert mentioned it seemed to fit at first but didn't hold up with boiling liquids, and someone else felt the lid was too small for their jar. This indicates there might be inconsistencies, especially with older models or jars that might have changed over time.
So, it might be a good idea to check if it’s compatible with your exact jar model before buying to avoid any fitting surprises. While the lid has some great features and usually meets expectations, these fit issues could be something to keep in mind for a smoother experience.
