AirPods Pro 3 include five ear tip sizes: XXS, XS, S, M (pre-installed), and L. This is one more size than Pro 2, with XXS helping those with smaller ear canals.

New Design

Pro 3 tips use foam-infused silicone that molds better to your ear while maintaining durability. This improves both sound quality and noise cancellation.

Compatibility Note

Pro 3 tips are not interchangeable with Pro 2. Apple changed the shape and attachment mechanism.

Finding Your Size

1. Start with medium (pre-installed)
2. Run Ear Tip Fit Test: Settings > [Your AirPods] > Ear Tip Fit Test
3. Try different sizes if you do not get "Good Seal"
4. Different sizes for each ear is normal

Signs of Wrong Size

Too small: Poor bass, weak ANC, loose fit Too large: Discomfort, pressure, pushing sensation

Replacements

Apple sells replacement tips for .95 per set (two pairs of one size). Third-party foam tips from brands like Comply provide better workout grip but slightly change sound profile.
