The OXO Good Grips 11-Pound Stainless Steel Food Scale is pretty handy for anyone who loves spending time in the kitchen. It can handle weights up to 11 pounds, so whether you're baking up a storm or portioning bigger items like meat, it has you covered.
One cool thing about this scale is its pull-out display. It's designed to solve the annoying issue where big bowls or containers get in the way of the readings. From what we've seen, this feature really makes it easier to read measurements without having to juggle things around.
Plus, it supports different measurement units like ounces, grams, pounds, and kilograms. This flexibility can be awesome if you switch between recipes with varying ingredient lists.
A heads-up though—some folks have mentioned that the scale's accuracy can waver over time. Our research shows that this might spoil the fun of getting precise readings when it's been around for a while.
Also, it's a bit larger than some other food scales, which might be worth considering if your kitchen isn't super spacious.
Overall, the scale is well-regarded for its practical design and the ability to handle a good amount of weight. If you've got room for it and are okay with the potential for slight inaccuracies down the line, it should be a solid addition to your culinary gear!
