Hey! So, the Genuine Innovations G20310 Ultraflate CO2 inflator is a handy tool for cyclists, but there are some things to keep in mind.
One common issue we found is with compatibility across different types of CO2 cartridges. It’s supposed to work with both threaded and non-threaded cartridges, but there's this specific hiccup with the 16g non-threaded CO2 cartridges.
The manufacturer says it can handle non-threaded 20g cartridges and threaded ones like 16g, 20g, and 25g without a hitch.
But the 16g non-threaded ones can be a bit finicky because the inflator lacks the necessary spacer or adapter for them, which could cause sealing issues and inefficient inflation.
Another thing to watch out for is the build quality. While it's generally praised for being simple and effective, some folks have noticed the materials might not hold up as well with heavy use, potentially leading to some wear and tear.
Overall, it’s a good idea to double-check that you’re using the right cartridges, especially if they’re the tricky non-threaded 16g ones.
And having an extra adapter or spacer around might save you some headaches. Just some stuff to be aware of to make sure your inflator works smoothly and lasts a while!
