The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra features improved charging speeds over previous models.
Charging Speeds
| Method | Maximum Speed | Notes | |--------|--------------|-------| | Wired | 60W | Up from 45W on S25 Ultra | | Wireless | 25W | Requires compatible charger | | Reverse Wireless | 4.5W | Emergency device charging |
Wired Charging
60W wired charging delivers:
- 0-50%: ~30 minutes
- 0-100%: ~60-70 minutes
Note: Samsung does not include a charger in the box. You need a 60W+ USB-C PD charger.
Wireless Charging
25W wireless requires a compatible charger. Many users report difficulty achieving full speeds—chargers often default to 10-15W instead.
Reverse Wireless Charging
4.5W output charges Qi-compatible devices placed on the phone's back. Useful for emergencies but too slow for regular use.

Charging Tips
- Use a high-quality cable rated for 60W+
- Avoid phone use while charging for maximum speed
- Charging slows above 80% to protect battery health
- Keep phone at moderate temperature while charging
Comparison
While 60W improves on Samsung's previous 45W, competitors offer faster charging: OnePlus (100W+) and Xiaomi (120W+) fully charge in 20-30 minutes.
