The OnePlus 15 has an IP69 rating, which is actually better than what most flagship phones offer. That "69" instead of the usual "68" matters more than you might think.

Here's the difference: IP68 (what iPhones and Galaxy phones have) means dust-proof and can survive being underwater. IP69 means all of that plus it can handle high-pressure water jets. Think car wash levels of water pressure. You'll probably never need that, but it's nice knowing your phone can take it.

For normal life, this means you don't need to worry about rain, dropping your phone in a sink, or washing it off under the tap. It'll be fine.

The screen has Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which is Corning's latest and toughest glass. It's great at resisting scratches and cracks, but I'd still recommend a screen protector. Even the best glass can get scratched by sand, keys, or other sharp stuff in your pocket. You can get a 3-pack from Orzero for about $10. Worth it.

The phone itself feels solid and premium. Nothing creaky or cheap about it. You can get it in Absolute Black, a cool sand-colored option called Original Sand Dune, or a limited purple version (Ultra Violet) if you order from OnePlus or Amazon directly.

If you want extra protection, there are good case options. The Thinborne Aramid Fiber case is extremely thin but super strong. Ringke makes affordable clear cases if you want to show off the phone. Poetic Guardian has military-grade drop protection if you're rough on phones.

One thing worth mentioning: the phone does get pretty hot during long gaming sessions. No one's reported actual damage from this, but something to be aware of if you're concerned about long-term durability.

Overall though? This is one of the most durable flagship phones you can buy.
