The Disguise Toothless costume is generally well-liked by kids, but there are a few things you might want to consider before buying it.

First off, the costume includes a character jumpsuit, detachable tail and wings, mask, and gloves, which are all made from 100% polyester. The manufacturer suggests hand-washing to keep it in good condition.

In terms of fit, many parents seem happy with it. The costume usually fits as expected and has some stretch, which is handy if your child needs to wear layers underneath—especially if it's cold out.

However, our research shows that some folks mentioned the costume can run a bit small, especially for taller kids in the small (4-6) size range. So, if your child is on the taller side, you might want to consider sizing up.

Now, about the mask—this is where some caution might be needed. Our research indicates that the mask isn't very durable, with some reporting it's a bit flimsy and can break easily.

So, if your child is a bit rough with their costumes, this might be a point to keep in mind. On the bright side, the costume scores high on design, really capturing that 'How to Train Your Dragon' vibe, which young fans usually love.

Priced around $36.43, the costume seems to offer good value, despite the mask's fragility. Most consider it a solid purchase for events like themed parties or Halloween.

In short, while the costume looks great and generally fits well, paying attention to sizing and handling the mask gently should make for a happier experience overall. It's a fun choice for any young Toothless fans out there!
