Yeah, you can totally wear clothes under the Disguise Toothless costume if you want to stay warm. Our research found that this costume comes with a jumpsuit, detachable wings and tail, a mask, and gloves. It's mainly designed for Halloween or dress-up, so if it's chilly out, adding some layers is a good idea.
The manufacturer puts a lot of effort into making it look like dragon skin with claws, which is pretty cool. But our data suggests the material is a bit thin, so layering could help stay warm and maybe make it a bit more comfy and sturdy too.
People seem to like the detachable wings because they make moving around easier and let you switch up the look. But, just as a heads-up, one person mentioned an elastic band on the wings broke, so it's probably a good idea to be gentle with them.
If you're layering clothes underneath, go for something lightweight and comfy so it doesn't mess with the costume's fit or appearance.
Also, several folks noted that you should handle the mask and gloves carefully to avoid any damage, especially if the costume is gonna be used a lot.
All in all, with a bit of care and some extra layers, the costume should work out great for your little dragon fan!
