The Tuft & Needle Queen Mattress Protector seems to do a pretty good job fitting a queen-sized mattress. The manufacturer describes it as both waterproof and liquid-proof, covering not just the top but also the sides of the mattress, which provides full protection from spills—a handy feature if you've got kids or pets around.
According to our research, it snugly wraps around the mattress, ensuring all-around coverage. This really stands out since some protectors only cover the top, leaving the sides exposed. Many folks have appreciated its effectiveness in keeping their mattresses dry, even after common spills like water or juice.
On the flip side, a few have noted that under certain circumstances, moisture might manage to sneak through; this could depend on the type and amount of liquid or other unique conditions.
In terms of comfort, a lot of people found it soft and quiet, which is a win because some waterproof protectors can be a bit crinkly or not so comfy. That said, it might retain some heat, so if you sleep hot, it could be something to keep in mind.
Just a heads-up, you'll want to stick to the washing instructions—cold water wash and low-heat drying—to keep it in good shape. Ignoring these could damage its waterproof layer.
Overall, it seems like the protector fits well and does a good job of guarding against spills while staying comfortable. Just be sure to follow the care instructions to keep it doing its job over the long haul.
