From what we've found, the pole in the Park & Sun Sports Permanent Outdoor Tetherball Set seems to be pretty sturdy. It's made with powder-coated steel, which the manufacturer says helps it resist rust and stand up to the weather. This makes it a good choice for setting up permanently outdoors.
Of course, being outside all the time can eventually cause wear and tear. The pole should hold up well, but some of the other parts, like the rope or the ball, might wear out a bit faster, especially if you play a lot.
So, while the pole itself is solid, you might need to replace some smaller parts over time. If you do run into issues with the tetherball or rope, Park & Sun Sports usually offers replacement parts, either through them or at most sporting goods stores. Just make sure any replacements you get work well with the set to keep everything in good shape.
And if you happen to discover any missing pieces or other problems, like a ball that won't inflate, getting in touch with the retailer can often sort things out. They’re usually quite helpful with replacements or guiding you to the right resources.
Overall, the pole is built to last as a permanent fixture in your outdoor area. Just keep an eye on the smaller parts, and don't hesitate to swap them out if needed to keep your tetherball setup running smoothly.
