If you're looking into setting up the Park & Sun Sports Permanent Outdoor Tetherball Set with its 2-piece pole, it's good to know that it's built tough and pretty easy to install. The manufacturer describes its galvanized steel construction as strong and rust-resistant, which is great news since it'll be out in the weather all year round.
You'll get everything you need with the set: a 12-inch ground sleeve, nylon cord, tetherball, and even a ball pump. Our research suggests these parts hold up well outside, making them suitable for outdoor fun.
As for actually getting it up and running, our findings show people generally find it straightforward. Many folks mention using fast-setting concrete to secure the pole, which lets you get everything set up and play-ready in a few hours.
It's also a good idea to check the pole's level from various angles to avoid any leaning issues—a handy tip shared by others.
A little heads up, though: some have reported receiving a set with a missing ball or rope. It's a hassle, but getting in touch with the company should sort things out.
Also, while the pole seems really sturdy, some have noticed the nylon cord might not last as long over time.
Overall, despite a few minor hiccups, people generally have positive things to say about this tetherball set. It's solidly built and should make for a fun addition to your outdoor games.
So, if you're thinking about setting up a tetherball court, this set seems to be a reliable and well-liked option.
