The HealthSmart Enhanced Comfort 5-inch Raised (Round) Toilet Seat Riser is designed to add an extra 5 inches to your current toilet seat. This can really help if you're recovering from surgery or have mobility issues, making it easier to sit down and stand up.
According to the manufacturer's product description, this riser measures 15.7 inches in length, 15.2 inches in width, and 6.1 inches in height. The opening is about 10.25 by 8 inches, which should fit most standard round toilet bowls. However, it's not suitable for elongated bowls.
Our research has shown it generally fits well on standard round toilet seats and does provide the promised height boost. But, it's worth mentioning that not everyone had a perfect fit. Some folks said it didn't fit well on slightly oblong or unusually shaped round seats, and one person even noted that it slid backwards when not properly placed.
To be on the safe side, double-check your toilet's specifications before buying. If you've got an elongated bowl, you'd need a different riser specifically made for that shape.
This way, you'll ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
