The DOCAZOO Docapole Fruit Picker Basket is great if you're looking to reach up high in trees to pick fruit. It can extend up to 30 feet, thanks to its telescopic pole, so it's handy for both shorter and taller trees. According to the manufacturer's description, it has an easy twist-on tool and a large basket that can handle several fruits at a time, like apples, pears, and even nuts, without hurting them or the tree.
From what we've found, people generally like that the basket can hold a lot, since it means fewer trips to empty it, making the task quicker. While the extension mechanism is designed to be smooth, some folks have noted that when you extend it to its full length, the pole can get quite heavy and might flex a bit. So, it's sturdy, but handling it when fully extended requires a bit of care.
On the feedback side, most people appreciate that it cuts down on the use of ladders, making it safer and easier to get to the fruit. However, there have been some reports of issues with the locking mechanisms on the pole—sometimes locking up or loosening during use, which could interrupt your fruit-picking rhythm. This seems to depend on how high you're reaching and what you're picking.
In a nutshell, the DOCAZOO Docapole Fruit Picker Basket does a good job of making high-up fruit picking more doable, especially if you manage its quirks, like the weight at full stretch and making sure the locks are secure.
