Hey! So, regarding the COSTWAY Scarecrow Motion Activated Animal Repellent, there isn't a clear-cut answer about its battery life directly in the product details. But it's good to know that battery life is pretty important for keeping it working well over time.
From what the manufacturer says, this repellent runs on a single 9-volt battery, which can last up to six months. This can vary depending on how often it's activated and what settings you're using.
In our research, it looks like the device is pretty effective at scaring off unwanted critters, like deer and raccoons, by spraying a burst of water. It covers a good area—up to 1,200 square feet—and works both day and night. Managing the battery power efficiently seems to be one key to its lasting effectiveness.
Some folks have reported that their batteries last a few months, matching what the manufacturer claims. They've also noticed fewer animal visits to their gardens or lawns.
However, not everyone's had the same experience. There are indications the motion sensor sometimes isn't as responsive as it could be, which might mess with battery usage by accidentally triggering when it shouldn't or not at all.
For best results, it might be helpful to occasionally adjust the sensor settings and make sure nothing's blocking it, like plant shadows. Plus, it's good to regularly check your water hookup, tweak sensor sensitivity as needed, and swap out the battery to keep it working its best.
Overall, with the right setup and maintenance, the COSTWAY Scarecrow can be a handy ally in keeping animals out for quite a while. Just keep an eye on that battery and make any necessary tweaks to keep it running smoothly.
