If you're sharpening skates with the SPARX Sharpener 2, you're looking at about 4 to 6 minutes per pair. It's pretty efficient, especially since over 25 NHL teams rely on it, which says a lot about its quality.
This sharpener is really straightforward to use. Whether you're on a professional team or just an enthusiast who loves skating, you'll find it pretty easy to handle. One cool thing is that it requires minimal adjustments to get those edges just right.
Plus, it comes with different grinding rings offering various hollow sizes, so you can customize the sharpening to fit your preference perfectly. The rings even have RFID chips that let you know when they need replacing, which is super handy.
One thing to keep in mind, though, is while it's well-built, some folks find it a tad heavy, making it less ideal to move around a lot.
And don't forget, the grinding rings and other accessories aren't included, so you’ll need to consider that in your budget.
All in all, if you want a sharpener that gets the job done quick and efficiently, the SPARX Sharpener 2 is a great pick, trusted by many serious skaters and teams.
