Where Samsung Wins
Ultrawide coverage: The S25 Ultra's 120-degree field of view captures significantly more in each frame than the OnePlus 15's narrower ultrawide. This matters for landscapes, architecture, and group photos.
Zoom reach: With 5x optical zoom versus OnePlus's 3.5x, the S25 Ultra maintains better quality when shooting distant subjects.
Where OnePlus Competes
Consistent resolution: The OnePlus 15's 50MP across all three rear cameras provides uniformly high-resolution images regardless of which lens you use.
Natural colors: OnePlus's new DetailMax processing produces more neutral, true-to-life colors. Samsung tends toward warmer, more vibrant images that some find oversaturated.
Value: The OnePlus 15 delivers comparable photo quality at $400 less than the S25 Ultra.
The Verdict
For most everyday photography, both phones produce excellent results. Samsung edges ahead for zoom and ultrawide shots. OnePlus holds its own everywhere else while offering better value. Compare OnePlus 15 prices versus Samsung's flagship.
