The TCL 85-Inch Q65 QLED TV does have some appealing gaming features, but there are a few things to keep in mind. While its display is pretty impressive with vibrant colors, which is awesome for graphics-heavy games, the viewing angles aren't the greatest. So, depending on how your room is set up, you might not get the best picture from every spot.

This TV comes with Google TV for easy access to streaming apps, but our research shows it might have some performance issues, like lag and Wi-Fi drop-offs. These could be a problem if you're streaming games or using online services. You might want to try fixing your Wi-Fi or using a separate band to keep your connection stable.

The TV does offer a game mode to keep the input lag low, which is great for smooth gameplay. But given the noted sluggishness of the Google TV interface, it’s worth considering how much you rely on those features when gaming.

So, if having a large screen with great visuals is your main goal, this TV is worth a look, especially since it's reasonably priced for its size and quality.

Just be prepared to troubleshoot potential Wi-Fi issues if you care a lot about smart features or online gaming.
