From what we've found, the Lumaland Luxurious Giant 7ft Bean Bag Chair doesn't really have a noticeable smell once it's fully expanded. The manufacturer mentions that it's filled with high-quality foam, which is claimed to be odor-free.
However, setting up the bean bag is a bit of a task. It arrives all compressed, so getting it to its full size takes some effort. You might end up doing a bit of kicking, punching, or even jumping on it to break up the foam for a complete expansion.
The manufacturer mentions it can take up to two weeks to fully expand, but working it manually might speed things up. Once it's all set up, many folks agree it's super comfy and worth the initial hustle.
The chair has a microsuede cover that's not just soft but also machine washable, which is pretty handy for cleaning. It's a nice fit for busy spots like family rooms or dorms. Just make sure you have enough space since it's quite large.
If you're okay with putting a bit of muscle into setting it up, and you've got room for it, this bean bag can be a comfy choice without any unwanted smells hanging around. According to our research, setting it up is more about perseverance than difficulty, and many find the end result—a big, cozy seat—worth the effort.
