The 'B Style Pyramid Interior Newel Cap' is primarily meant for staircases, but you could consider using it for outdoor areas like decks or railings.
Just keep in mind a little issue we found: some folks mentioned that the edges can be sharp. This might be a problem if you're planning to use it in places where people will touch them a lot.
But don't worry too much; a quick sanding with 120 grit sandpaper and then 220 grit sandpaper can smooth things out. That said, it's a bit of a bummer to have to do that considering the cost.
The manufacturer's description says it's made from quality materials with a nice finish, designed to add a touch of elegance both indoors and out. It has a pyramid shape with a rounded edge, which gives it a unique look.
However, based on the feedback, if these will be in high-traffic areas, you might need to do some DIY work.
It comes in different woods and sizes, but it looks like you're interested in the Poplar 4.75" version.
Our research shows this variant is usually available and ships out quickly. Most reviews are positive, but there are some mentions of quality control issues.
So, if you're thinking about using it outside, just be ready for a little extra work to make it perfect. It does have a nice design that can add style to your outdoor projects, just keep in mind the touch-up might be necessary.
