So, about the iDesign Formbu Bamboo Floor Mat: it's pretty well-regarded for use in bathrooms because it's got this handy water-resistant feature and a non-skid bottom.

But, heads up, some folks have noticed a strong chemical smell when they first unpack it. Our research found that a few people have pointed out this issue. Luckily, the smell seems to fade over time.

Since it's made from bamboo with a water-resistant coating, it holds up well in damp places like bathrooms. The manufacturer highlights its resistance to moisture and safety features like the non-slip backing.

But, if you're sensitive to chemical odors or plan to use it in a small space, this might be important to know.

If you decide to get one, maybe try leaving it out in a well-ventilated area before putting it to use. Some folks have noticed that this helps the smell fade quite a bit after a couple of days.

In a nutshell, it's a solid option for a bathroom mat with good features, just keep the initial smell in mind and give it some airing time if needed.
