Known Incompatible Games
A small number of titles don't work on Switch 2:
- Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit — Console is too large for VR goggles
- Streaming apps (Hulu, Crunchyroll, Niconico, ABEMA, InkyPen) — Not supported on Switch 2
Games Requiring Original Joy-Cons
Games using the IR Motion Camera (found in original Joy-Con right controller) need original Joy-Cons connected wirelessly. Joy-Con 2 doesn't include IR functionality.
Performance Improvements
Many games run better on Switch 2 thanks to more powerful hardware. Some support 4K output when docked.
