- •Functionality: Handles the primary tasks of blowing and vacuuming effectively.
- •Mulching Efficiency: Good at breaking down materials, saving time compared to manual alternatives.
Cons
- •Bulkiness and Weight: Heavier than expected, leading to challenges in handling.
- •Support Design Issues: Lacks wheels or additional support on the vacuum tube; strap adjustability is problematic.
- •Suction Power and Ergonomics: Insufficient suction while upright and not ideal for taller users.

- •Potential Overheating: Instances of smoking due to overloading add a concern for device safety.
Bottom Line
While the WORX WG509 delivers on its main functionalities and can be a valuable tool for leaf mulching, its usability could be hampered by factors like weight, support design, and reliability issues. For someone needing a tool that manages various yard materials, it's good but more suitable for lighter, less frequent tasks. For those seeking more durability and better ergonomics, especially for taller users, exploring alternative models might be beneficial.
