Cons
- •Quality deemed poor and unsuitable for succulents like Echeveria, Sempervivum, Sedum, and Graptopetalum.
- •Soil texture is overly black and compacted, lacking essential properties for proper drainage and lightweight feel.
- •Absence of necessary additives like perlite, moss, or forest products which are important for succulent soil.
- •Presence of clay-like pieces, altering the expected texture and composition.
Bottom Line
The Miracle-Gro 71959430 garden soil seems to be a hit or miss depending on your specific plant needs. It's not recommended for succulent enthusiasts due to compaction and lack of essential additives. If you're focusing on cacti or pots, it may work better for you, though we suggest exploring other soil options if optimal drainage for delicate plants is your top priority.
