- •Easy socket changes without requiring extra tools improve efficiency on the job.
- •Robust and durable build quality feels solid in hand, preferred by professionals and maintenance staff alike.
- •Outperforms many higher-priced impact wrenches with smooth and fast operation, ideal for medium-heavy duty automotive and construction tasks.
- •Low-end torque setting offers additional control for delicate applications, though most users rely on high power.
Cons
- •Generally heavy and not well balanced, which can cause user fatigue during extended or awkward tasks.
- •Warranty service experience is frustrating for many; several users report claims being denied as "normal wear and tear," leading to long delays and poor communication.
- •Reports of intermittent electronic issues including switch and battery connection failures after about a year of use, affecting reliability.
- •Some units have broken parts (like the anvil) during what users consider normal operation, raising durability concerns.
- •Customer service is inconsistent and often slow to respond, which may add to repair headaches.
- •Caution needed when tightening smaller bolts due to the high torque — snapping bolts is a risk if not careful.
Bottom Line
The Milwaukee 2767-20 M18 FUEL High Torque 1/2" Impact Wrench is a heavyweight champion in the cordless impact wrench arena, packing pneumatic-like torque with a versatile control system that powers through stubborn bolts and heavy-duty fastening jobs. It’s a great fit if you already own the M18 battery platform and need a robust tool for demanding tasks. However, be prepared to handle its hefty weight and potential frustrations with Milwaukee’s warranty and customer service. If ease of service and lighter handling are priorities, you might want to consider alternatives, but for sheer power and rugged performance, this tool is hard to beat.
