Pros
- •Cats get wildly excited at the sound of "Churu" or when the tube is opened, showing strong enthusiasm for these treats.
- •Excellent for bonding and positive interaction with cats, creating comforting daily rituals and easing stressful moments like vet visits or baths.
- •The high moisture content (91%) supports hydration, especially helpful for cats with low water intake or poor appetites.
- •Low in calories (6 per tube), making it a guilt-free treat perfect for weight-conscious cats.
- •Comes in a large value pack of 100 tubes, providing a long-lasting supply of high-quality, lickable, creamy purée treats.
- •Versatile use as a snack, food topper, or medication aid by hiding pills inside the creamy texture.
- •Available in a variety of 8 savory flavors, keeping cats interested and satisfied without flavor fatigue.
- •Grain-free, preservative-free, carrageenan-free, and free from artificial colors, so it’s a clean-label product you can feel good about feeding.
- •Tubes preserve freshness well and work for both interactive hand-feeding and passive bowl feeding.
Cons
- •Tube content is inconsistent; many users report varying amounts of purée in identical packaging, which can be frustrating when splitting between multiple pets.
- •Some cats have experienced allergic reactions or digestive upset, possibly due to certain flavors or ingredients in new tube batches.
- •Recent changes in tube materials have been linked to some cats seeming to get sick (though this is not widespread).
- •Packaging is not recyclable or compostable, which raises environmental concerns despite the paper box.
- •While most cats love these treats, a small portion of very picky cats may be less interested.
Bottom Line
INABA Churu Cat Treats are a surefire way to get your cat’s attention and keep them hydrated with minimal calories, all while helping you bond and even medicate with ease. The large 100-tube pack offers great value, perfect for multi-cat households or daily treat routines. Just be aware that tube content inconsistency and occasional allergic reactions have been reported, so monitor your cat’s response carefully. If you’re looking for a similarly loved treat but want to avoid inconsistency issues, consider exploring other lickable options with reliable packaging. Overall, these treats are a delightful crowd-pleaser for most cats and a smart addition to your kitty’s snack arsenal.
