Why this score?
The External DVD Drive receives a moderate score due to its solid performance and ease of use noted by many customers, who appreciate its plug-and-play functionality and portability. However, concerns about the short, non-detachable USB cable, regional DVD settings, and occasional reliability issues, particularly with macOS compatibility, highlight significant limitations that could affect long-term satisfaction. Overall, it provides good value for users needing a basic external drive but may not meet the needs of more demanding users.
