Bottom Line
The Epson EcoTank ET-3958 offers excellent print quality and cost savings through refillable tanks, making it a solid choice for those who value volume printing at a lower ink cost. However, this printer does have a steeper setup learning curve—especially the scanner on Mac devices—and some users have faced frustrating malfunctions and customer service delays. If vibrant color accuracy and hassle-free operation are top priorities, consider whether you’re comfortable with some trial and error during setup. Otherwise, this model stands out for wireless convenience and high capacity printing in its price range.
