Pros
- •The EGO POWER+ mower is significantly quieter than gas models, allowing for conversation while mowing.
- •The EGO Touch Drive™ system offers smooth and intuitive self-propelling control with easy speed adjustments.
- •The Select Cut™ Multi-Blade system delivers a clean, even cut with interchangeable blades for mulching, bagging, or extended runtime.
- •Dual included 56V 6.0Ah batteries provide up to 100 minutes of combined runtime, enough to mow most lawns up to about 7,500 sq ft on a single charge.
- •Rapid charger quickly replenishes both batteries, minimizing downtime.
- •The mower folds compactly for convenient storage, saving space.
- •Lightweight and nimble design makes it easy to push and maneuver, even on rough or hilly terrain.
- •Effortless push-button start and simple battery lever make operation easy compared to gas mower recoil starters.
- •Backing up the mower is smoother than expected thanks to a simple push-forward-then-pull-back technique.
- •Mulch blade works well to finely shred grass without scattering clippings, keeping the yard clean.
Cons
- •The blades are somewhat soft and need sharpening every 3-4 uses to maintain optimal cutting performance.
- •While powerful, it may struggle slightly with very thick or overgrown grass compared to some heavy-duty gas mowers.
- •Recommended mainly for lawns up to around 7,500 sq ft; larger properties may require additional batteries or time.
Bottom Line
The EGO POWER+ LM2134SP-2 is a standout cordless lawn mower that combines powerful performance, long runtime, and convenient features like the Select Cut™ blade system and Touch Drive™ self-propulsion. It’s an excellent green alternative to gas mowers for medium-sized yards and users who want quiet, easy operation without sacrificing cutting quality. If your lawn is larger or has denser grass, consider supplementing with extra batteries or checking out other options, but for most residential yards, this mower exceeds expectations on power and convenience. Experience smart mowing with hassle-free cordless power and easy storage in one package.
