Why this score?
The Brother DS-640 Compact Mobile Document Scanner achieves a moderate score, praised for its portability and scan quality, making it a suitable choice for users needing occasional document scans. However, it falls short due to its inability to perform duplex scanning in one pass and some software limitations, which can frustrate users during heavier tasks. Overall, it represents good value for light usage, particularly at its price point, though potential buyers should be aware of its limitations for more demanding scanning needs.
