🔍 How to Watch a Search Instead of a Product
Track a search query so ShopSavvy alerts you when new products or deals match.
Sometimes you do not want to watch a specific product. You want to know when anything matching a search goes on sale. That is what watched searches are for.
How to Do It
- Search for something in the Search tab (for example, "running shoes" or "4K monitor").
- Instead of tapping a specific product, tap Watch this Search.
- ShopSavvy will monitor the search results and alert you when new products appear or prices drop on matching items.
Managing Watched Searches
Your watched searches are in the Watching tab alongside your watched products. You can filter to see just searches, adjust alert settings, or stop watching.
Tips
- This is especially useful for categories you are browsing but have not decided on a specific product yet.
- You can set notification preferences (push, email) just like with watched products.
