🏬 How to Hide or Prefer Specific Retailers

Tell the shopping assistant which stores you trust — and which to skip — and it remembers.

Not every retailer fits everyone. If you have stores you always buy from (or never want to see again), you can tell ShopSavvy.

How to Set Your Retailer Preferences

  1. Open ShopSavvy.
  2. Tap More at the bottom, then tap Settings.
  3. Open Retailer Preferences.
  4. You will see two lists:
    • Preferred retailers — the shopping assistant favors these in results.
    • Excluded retailers — the assistant leaves these out entirely.
  5. Type any retailer name to add it to either list. Tap the X next to a name to remove it.

Just Ask the Assistant

You can also do this with a sentence. In the shopping assistant, try:

  • "Never show me results from [retailer]"
  • "I prefer shopping at Target and Best Buy"
  • "Don't recommend AliExpress"

The assistant updates the same preferences behind the scenes.

What This Affects

  • Assistant recommendations weight preferred retailers higher and skip excluded ones.
  • The main price comparison list still shows every retailer carrying a product — because sometimes the deal matters more than the store. You can always override.

Tips

  • Excluding a retailer does not cancel watches you already set on their products — edit those from More → Watched.
  • Preferred retailers do not change pricing. We always sort by cheapest; preferences only affect recommendations.
