Credits, request limits and plans

The ShopSavvy Data API uses a credit-based pricing system. Different operations cost different amounts of credits.
Credit Costs
| Operation | Cost |
|---|---|
| Retrieving Product Details | 1 credit per product found |
| Searching Products by Keyword | 1 credit per product returned |
| Current Offers (All Retailers) | 3 credits per product |
| Current Offers (Single Retailer) | 2 credits per product |
| Price History | Offer cost per product + 1 credit per day of the window (the per-day component is charged once per request, not per product) — charged only when offers are found |
| Schedule Product Monitoring | 1 credit per product (refreshes are not charged) |
| Browse Deals | 1 credit per 10 deals returned |
| TLDR Product Review | 1 credit per product (0 when no review exists) |
| Batch Product Lookup | 1 credit per product found (+ 3 per product that has offers when including offers, + 1 per product that has a review when including reviews) |
Request Limits
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
Identifiers per request (ids= on any endpoint, and identifiers on POST /products/batch) | 100 |
Price-history window (start to end) | 366 days |
Requests over either limit are rejected with ERR_INVALID_PARAMS before any credits are charged. Split them into successive calls.
Subscription Plans
Visit the pricing page to see current subscription plans and credit allocations.
Try it before you sign up (Live Sandbox)
The playground has a Live Sandbox mode that fires real API calls against a curated set of sample products — no account, no credit card, no credits consumed. Use it to see real response shapes before you write any code. Sample products only; start a 14-day Starter trial at shopsavvy.com/data#pricing to query the full catalog.
Referral Program
Earn bonus API credits by referring other developers. Grab your referral link from the Referrals page in your dashboard (https://shopsavvy.com/data?ref=YOUR_CODE) and share it — for example, in your project's README. When a developer who signs up through your link becomes a paying subscriber, bonus credits are added to your account automatically. The bonus tops up your monthly allowance and carries over until used. Rewards apply to brand-new accounts on their first paid conversion, and are reversed on refund, dispute, or cancellation within the clawback window.
