The Shubb C2N Reversible Guitar Slide, also known as the Axys Reversible Guitar Slide, is made from brass and Delrin plastic. The manufacturer chose these materials to make sure it's durable and offers great sound quality.
Brass is known for its rich, warm tone, which a lot of guitarists love for its resonance and sustain. The Delrin plastic part is meant to give you a smooth grip, making it easier to use and allowing for quick transitions during play.
One cool thing about this slide is its reversible design. You can rotate it on your finger to switch between sliding and fretting without missing a beat. This feature is a real bonus for those who want to change sounds quickly without swapping slides. The manufacturer suggests wearing it on your ring finger for smoother one-handed transitions, which can really help with fluidity in your playing.
According to our research, guitarists find the Shubb C2N slide especially good for getting a bright, full sound on acoustic guitars. Some folks did mention it can feel a bit heavy or awkward at first, but the included sizing rings can help you adjust it to fit better.
In a nutshell, the Shubb C2N Reversible Guitar Slide is a reliable choice for guitarists, whether you're just starting out or more experienced and looking for something versatile.
It's got a sturdy build and smart design that's great for exploring different sounds.
