Hey! So, if you're curious about the range of the DJI Mic 2, it can go up to 250 meters in open areas, as the manufacturer describes. That's pretty impressive and gives you a lot of flexibility if you're thinking about using it both indoors and outdoors.
Just a heads-up—while the noise-canceling feature is cool for cutting out background noise and making your recordings clearer, it doesn't really affect the range itself. Some of our research shows that folks noticed it might change the audio's tonal quality a bit, so you might want to turn it off if you're going for a natural sound unless the noise isn’t manageable.
Also, if you're pairing the microphone with a smartphone via Bluetooth, the noise-canceling feature won't work, according to the manufacturer's product description. Just something to keep in mind, especially if your setup is pretty mobile.
So, the DJI Mic 2 is a solid pick if you need that long range, but be sure to tweak the noise-canceling based on where and how you’re recording to get the best sound.
Hope this helps clear things up!
